Prepare a PrestaShop Webservice key

Before connecting PrestaShop to mailfino, enable the PrestaShop Webservice and create a dedicated key for mailfino.

Open Advanced Parameters > Webservicein the PrestaShop administration. Enable the Webservice if it is still disabled and create a new key.

Use a descriptive name, for example mailfino Newsletter. The key should only receive read access to the resources mailfino needs:

  • customers
  • orders
  • order_details
  • products
  • categories
  • images

Store the key in your password manager. You will later enter it in mailfino in the Webservice key field. mailfino does not need PrestaShop admin credentials or database credentials.
