Newsletter unsubscribes and the block list

Email addresses that no longer want to receive emails are placed on a block list that is managed on our servers. Any address on this block list is excluded from future mailings, except for emails sent to confirm a double opt-in.

Email addresses can be added to the block list in any of the following ways:

  1. Using the unsubscribe function in our standard unsubscribe form or in a custom form with an unsubscribe function.
  2. Spam complaints sent directly to us or to our hosting providers
  3. Complaints received through the feedback loop systems of selected email providers, such as Hotmail.
  4. Using the unsubscribe function in email programs such as Microsoft Outlook.

To view the block list, open the Reports tab, select any mailing, and then click Block list in the toolbar.

A blocked email address can be unblocked again through a double opt-in using a form created with our system.
