Customize double opt-in confirmation emails
If you are currently in the form editor, close the editor by clicking on the cross at the top right to return to the dashboard view for forms. Your new registration form has been created in the My forms added.
Here you have access to your forms, can edit the associated confirmation email for double opt-in confirmation and set up a series of emails that are automatically sent to new subscribers after registration.
A first e-mail with the subject Confirm your registration was automatically stored when the form was created. To edit this confirmation email, simply click on the Confirmation mail and the e-mail editor will open with the confirmation e-mail.
The standard confirmation email provided by the system is deliberately kept extremely simple, as it may only contain the most necessary information to confirm a registration. You must always include an imprint, but this email must not contain any advertising.
The link is a special system link that can only be assigned in the activation e-mail:
You can edit the mail as usual or load an existing draft.
To activate the changes in the confirmation email, open the tab Shipping.
Here you can see a preview of the confirmation e-mail, which is similar to the preview of a newsletter. To activate the mail, click on Save.
The system will now show you a brief summary of the order:
To confirm, click on Set up. This will arm the confirmation email and it will be active from now on.
