Prepare an access token

Bevor Sie Magento mit mailfino verbinden, erstellen Sie in Magento oder Adobe Commerce ein Integration Access Token für die REST API.

Melden Sie sich in der Magento Administration an und öffnen Sie System. In the area Extensions wählen Sie Integrations. Dort sehen Sie vorhandene Integrationen und können eine neue Integration anlegen.

Click on Add New Integration. Tragen Sie einen sprechenden Namen ein, zum Beispiel mailfino oder mailfino Newsletter.

Für den ersten Test kann die Integration mit umfassenden Leserechten angelegt werden. Für den produktiven Betrieb ist eine begrenzte Rolle besser, die nur Leserechte auf Kunden, Bestellungen, Produkte und Kategorien enthält.

Speichern und aktivieren Sie die Integration. Magento zeigt anschließend ein Access Token an. Kopieren Sie dieses Token in die Magento Anbindung in mailfino oder legen Sie es in Ihrem internen Passwortmanager ab.

mailfino benötigt keine Datenbank-Zugangsdaten und keinen Admin-Login. Für die Anbindung reichen die Shop-URL und das Integration Access Token.

Before you connect Magento with mailfino, create an integration access token for the REST API in Magento or Adobe Commerce.

Sign in to the Magento Administration and open System. In the Extensions section, choose Integrations. This page lists existing integrations and lets you create a new one.

Click Add New Integration. Enter a clear name, for example mailfino or mailfino Newsletter.

For a first test, the integration can be created with broad read permissions. For production use, a limited role is better. It should only grant read permissions for customers, orders, products, and categories.

Save and activate the integration. Magento then shows an Access Token. Copy this token into the Magento connection in mailfino or store it in your internal password manager.

mailfino does not need database credentials or an admin login. The shop URL and the integration access token are enough for the connection.
